PETA’s fundraisers are always huge successes, thanks to the hard work of the great teams that Scott assembles for the events. So many PETA members dig deep into their own pockets that PETA’s programs have continued at full steam, a credit to Scott’s focus on PETA’s programs and campaigns, which is evident throughout our fundraising.

While working for human rights organizations, Scott met Ingrid, became convinced that animal rights was the best way to advance human rights, and signed on with PETA, later taking up his current role with the PETA Foundation. As a result of his communication of PETA’s goals, programs, and visions, PETA’s membership has grown from 10,000 members in 1985 to more than 2 million members and supporters worldwide in 2008.

“It is the goal of my department to raise the funds PETA needs as cost-effectively as possible, even as the economy stumbles,” says Scott. “I’m blessed to be able to get up every morning and go to work for something I believe in wholeheartedly. I never want to retire or stop working!”
